Who We Are/Who We Are Not: Our Therapists (legally regarded as “Healing Ministers”) provide their services under God. The display of our Credentials of Ministry is our way of proclaiming our Constitutional and God-given rights to practice our healing gifts within the legal framework of our country. These credentials are the religious equivalent to a license to conduct business in the secular world. Transformations Wellness Holistic Spa is not a church; we are not in the business of preaching or converting others. Conversely, we are about freedom of choice (in health care, religion, etc), holistic natural healing and the right to practice alternative, God-given natural healing modalities, regardless of their acceptance by Western Medicine.

It is not our intention to engage in religious debates, or to impose our spiritual beliefs or values on any uninterested person. We neither promote nor reject the beliefs of any faith or doctrine. You will never be asked to explain or discuss your religious perspectives. We respect and honor your individual spirituality AND your right to privacy with regard to such. We discuss religion and spirituality only with those who seek our counsel.

Our Commitment to God is to provide healing and wellness services to everyone, because all people are deserving of these things, regardless of faith, race, age, sex or any other irrelevant characteristic.

Our Mission is to help improve the quality of life for each person who seeks our service; to assist those we can in times of need; to make Healthy Habits available and affordable to as many people as we are able (including natural foods, natural medicines, natural healing modalities, etc); and to educate those we can in matters of health, balance and wellbeing.

Our Healing Ministers

Rev. Dr. Chena Talkington, RDH, CMT, DD, Healing Minister Chena began her formal training at Laramie County Community College in 1990, where she obtained a science degree in 1993. She continued her training and pursued a career in the Western field of periodontics until 2008, when she completed her transition into Eastern thought, medicine and practice. During this time, and continually since then, she continued her education, obtaining a number of various certifications and trainings in world religions, massage therapy and alternative healing modalities such as Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing), acupuncture alternatives, Cupping Therapy and much more. Since this time, she also began using her knowledge to develop her own original technique, known as MyoSkeletal Balancing.

Our list of part-time contract therapists is almost too long to list! We have a number of talented therapists who work with us when we provide couples treatments and group services. Each therapist comes with their own unique styles and specialties from massage therapy to Reflexology to energy reading. When scheduling a couples treatment with us, we will select a therapist to fit your needs and expectations, depending on the service(s) you are scheduling and the preferences you specify.
